Ju Haknyeon leaves THE BOYZ

 Ju Haknyeon has left THE BOYZ. This surprising news was officially announced by his agency, ONE HUNDRED, on Wednesday (June 18, 2025). The decision was made after the idol became involved in a controversy related to his personal life.

"Upon receiving information about the issues involving Ju Haknyeon's personal life, our company immediately halted his activities and took the time to thoroughly verify the facts. As a result, we recognized the seriousness of the matter and decided it was no longer possible to maintain trust in him as an artist," stated ONE HUNDRED, as quoted by Soompi.

The agency also stated that it had discussed the decision with the other members of THE BOYZ. ONE HUNDRED explained that Ju Haknyeon's departure is a form of protection for the other members.

"After discussing with a number of THE BOYZ members, we have made the final decision for Ju Haknyeon to leave the group and terminate his exclusive contract. We kindly ask for your understanding, as this decision is an unavoidable measure to protect the members and the group. We would like to inform you that, starting today, Ju Haknyeon will cease all activities as a member of THE BOYZ."

Previously, Ju Haknyeon suddenly went on hiatus for personal reasons on Monday (June 16, 2025). The idol was reportedly seen meeting privately with former Japanese Adult Video (JAV) actress Kirara Asuka, and this has been confirmed by the agency.
