Israel Attacks Iran, Explosions Heard in Tehran

Reporting from Reuters, according to a report by the Nour News news agency, an explosion was heard northeast of the Iranian capital, Tehran.

However, there is no definitive report on the cause of the explosion.

Previously, Israel was said to be preparing a plan to attack Iran on a large scale.

A number of sources familiar with this told NBC News that the Zionist State is currently considering attacking Iran in the coming days.

The plan comes at a time when the United States is negotiating with Iran over a deal on Tehran's nuclear program.

According to several sources, the US is on high alert after receiving information about a possible Israeli attack on Iran. The sources also said the White House has yet to brief parliament on the issue.

One source said Israel is likely to carry out this attack unilaterally. The sources and officials themselves do not yet know whether the US will be involved in this action.
