Iran Attacks US Military Base in Qatar!

 Iran's National Security Council confirmed that it had attacked the main US military base in Qatar. The attack was described as retaliation for the US attack on its nuclear facilities.

"In response to the aggressive and provocative actions of the US against Iran's nuclear sites and facilities, several hours ago, the powerful armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran attacked the US airbase in Al-Udeid, Qatar," the council stated in a statement, as reported by AFP.

They also emphasized that the attack posed no threat to its neighbors in the Gulf. They claimed that the number of missiles used was the same as the number of bombs used by the US in its attack on Iran's nuclear facilities.

"This action does not pose any threat to our friendly and brotherly nation, Qatar," he added.

Qatar then stated that it had the right to respond after Iran attacked the US Al Udeid base, located in the Gulf state. It is known to be the largest US military facility in the region.

"We affirm that the State of Qatar has the right to respond directly in a manner proportional to the nature and scale of this blatant aggression," said Foreign Ministry spokesperson Majed Al-Ansari in a statement.

Majed also added that the US base had been evacuated as a precautionary measure ahead of the attack.
